Ten Years of Excellence: Fellowship Ushers in Eleventh Cohort

On September 16th, the S Jay Levy Fellowship hosted its annual Welcome and Graduation Ceremony, marking the program’s entrance into its second decade.

The Executive Director opened the evening by reflecting on the fellowship’s continued success and longevity, noting its role in inspiring many of the fellowship programs that have since emerged at City College. As alumni have gone on to achieve success in their careers, many have returned to mentor, support, and remain engaged with the fellowship community.

The incoming eleventh cohort was warmly welcomed by the fellowship staff, including the Executive Director, Managing Director, and Program Officer. Co-valedictorians Cesar Sanchez and Sydney Wilkes shared how the fellowship shaped their personal and professional journeys, while Alumni Board President Harjinder Pawar highlighted the strength and connectivity of the alumni network.

The evening of celebration and reflection concluded with certificates presented to the graduating fellows.
