Exploring Careers in STEM: Fellowship Visit to the New York Stem Cell Foundation

On May 2, S Jay Levy incoming, current, and alumni fellows gathered to attend a tour of the New York Stem Cell Foundation. The day began with an engaging lecture by Dr. Yinan Yang, a staff scientist at the Foundation, who provided an overview of the fundamentals of stem cell research. Fellows then toured the state-of-the-art facility and participated in a career panel featuring professionals from the organization’s science, engineering, and legal departments.

This was a wonderful opportunity for fellows to learn firsthand about the diverse career paths in STEM and connect with industry experts. The day concluded with a lunch at Bocca di Bacco, where fellows continued the conversation and reflected on the insights gained during the visit.
