Rumer LeGendre is a Legislative Assistant on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC. Working for a member of Congress is a great privilege and honor. In her role, Rumer handles several policy areas, which include but are not limited to healthcare, education, energy, and the environment. Rumer’s interest and commitment to public service and politics were sparked and nurtured during her time at the Colin Powell School for Civic and Global Leadership at the City College of New York. ‘I am thankful to all the staff there that helped me along the way and excited to give back through mentorship.’
