Chelenny Paulino Batista graduated summa cum laude from the City College of New York with a double bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Romance Languages. She is a proud alumna of the 8th cohort of the S Jay Levy Fellowship and now serves as Secretary for the Fellowship’s Alumni Board, where she continues to stay connected to the CCNY community and support student development.

After graduating, Chelenny began working at the nonprofit organization Children’s Aid, where she works closely with foster families, providing essential support and resources to ensure the well-being of children in care. Chelenny is also a master’s student in the Psychology program at CCNY, furthering her knowledge and training in the field. Passionate about child welfare, mental health advocacy, and community support, she aspires to expand her impact in the areas of mental health and child advocacy.
