Rivka Shoulson
Dr. Rivka Shoulson, DVM, MPH, DACLAM is the Director of Veterinary Clinical Operations at Columbia University’s Institute of Comparative Medicine and the fellowship’s Executive-in-Residence. Dr. Shoulson has a bachelors in animal science from Cornell University and a DVM from Mississippi State University – College of Veterinary Medicine. After veterinary school, Dr. Shoulson went on to complete a residency in laboratory animal medicine while simultaneously earning a master in public health degree in molecular toxicology at Columbia University. Dr. Shoulson is also a Diplomat for the American College of Laboratory Animal Medicine (DACLAM). Dr. Shoulson has a strong interest in mentorship, teaching, and training. Together with the fellowship’s leadership, she hopes to enhance the mentorship program while guiding students to help them achieve their academic and career goals.
